There are about a million air hoses under the inlet manifold chamber that could have become perished and cause this problem.

The idle control valve is also under the inlet chamber. Remove and clean with WD40 and a clean rag. If this improves the problem then it indicates that this is the fault and requires a replacement:thumbsup

When I removed my inlet chamber I used red insulation tape around the disconnected end so that the pipes were easy to find when it came to refitting:thumbsup

Be warned, refitting is a P.I.T.A. :frown
