Hi, hoping someone can answer this as I'm all out of ideas

What I would like to do is piggy-back off of the signal from the SMG gear positron sensor to run to a separate LifeRacing ECU. I cant seem to find wiring diagrams or any information specific to this device. Any SMG guru's please help

All I can help with is a picture showing the sensor here, number 11. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BG92&mospid=47433&btnr=23_0233&hg=23&fg=15.

Will that be any help in tracing the wire colours by looking at that switch? :confused

ooh, possibly. I didn't know that sensor was there, I will have to investigate.

The one I was looking at was from the back of the smg box just above the prop.
