Hi guys yesterday i got a problem with my car. When i drive fast in 1st gear over 3k the car starts jumping like anything but if i drive it fast in any of the other gears then its fine.Can anyone tell me what this could be?

Maybe it's trying to tell you not to cane a 13 year old car in first gear.

if thats the case im buggered when it comes to hill starts which i do alot where i live

Could be your airflow meter mate. Try unpluging the plug from the airflow meter

do u get a knock in your gears when it happens ? if so you could have a gear syncro problem as i do over 3000 rpm in first gear and then red line second just to give it a work out and it clears the injectors
