Hi all, today my car has been acting rather strangely, at speeds of around 60 mph my car starts swaying from left to right on the back end, its especially worse when i go over bumps feels like im going to loose control of it, im not mechanically minded so could anyone please tell me what to check ? sounds like rear trailing arm bushes which are a common problem,try and go for polys as there easier to fit saving labour time as you dont need a special tool to install them.plus they will last longer than standard bushes...the knocking could be re-lated to that or even anti-roll bar bushes or rear shock mounts which i believe are another weak point on these cars..some guru should be along to help no doubt very shortly

defo sounds like the rtab have had it and whilst your there maybe a good time to check the arb bushes and drop links aswel and check over the subframe bushes too
