Hi
Fisrt post and looking for help.
While back car (1996 323c ) went in to have rear break pipes replaced, to get to them had to drop the prop, exhaust and fuel tank. Ever since I'm getting a lot of vibration especially around the 55 to 65 speed, drive through this and it improves a bit. Took it back and am told everything's back as it was, they've tried numerous things but can't find the cause. Wheels are balanced ok. Could it be the prop, it was dropped out and put back, am told it can't really be put back wrong, maybe it was going anyway? Also there is a bit of a flat spot arond the same speed.
Any recommendations for good garages in Derby or Sheffiled where I work?
Cheers

Did they drop the whole of the propshaft down and off the car or just the rear end? If it was just the rear end that was removed and split from the front half they "may" have not lined the prop up correctly when refitting.

As for garages, Quarry motors are rated by a few members on here and they are a BMW specialist.
