RYM is the man for this, he has removed more nose cones on E36's than members on this forum that own them, :rofl

Sorted,

2 M8 hex bolts under the arches either side, either take the bumper off or the arch liners to gain access!
2 x M8 hex bolts either side of the radiator shroud (opposite the headlamp inner side/0.
2 X T30 torx either side by where the hood clips lock on.

Got there eventually, bit of a pain to do though...
