im after a passenger window motor iv had 2 faulty ones (greattt) they look exactly the same shape as that above

the guy has sentme an email saying its from a tourer he thinks. will it fit mine as it may be the whole "wires crossed thing"

Convertible doors are same length as coupe. saloon touring and compact are the same.

You would have to remove the motor from the window mechanism.

Out of interest, have you tried CR M-Tech? He specialises in breaking E36 M3 Coupés:thumbsup
