HI,
I have an E36 328 touring which at some point in the future I'm planning to take on track.
All work that I do to this car will be on a shoestring budget, to put it mildly, and one of the areas that I expect I'll need to address is the handling.
Having had a look on ebay there are some remakably cheap coilover kits available for the car e.g.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Coilovers-Low...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43a5882199
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-E36-328i-...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cf4042081
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HEIGHT-ADJUST...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5adb1c5696
and I was wondering if anyone here has any experience of these kits (or similar) and whether they're actually of any use, or is the old maxim "you get what you pay for" applicable and they're actually junk?
I really don't want to spring for KW or GAZ or a more expensive but better known (and recognised) make if i can possiobly help it.
thanks,
MArk.
