Hello,
I have recently bought an 1995 E36 318is with a flat battery. I used jump leads to get the car started with another vehicle and the engine off (i.e. without the alternator charging) and the car started fine with no alarm problems. However I tried starting the car again (as I had to move it) with jump leads but with the other vehicle running this time (may have been a mistake) and the car starts but the siren goes off. It is a BMW alarm (3T or T3?).
I also have a key fob which unlocks/locks the doors and arms/disarms the immobiliser which seems to work fine. :confused
Any thoughts on how I stop the siren going off, without using a hammer?!
Thanks
