My car is a 1994 320 Vert. so im gonna look for a engine around the same year non vanos.

What other parts will i need. how hard is it to swap the loom and the ecu over?

Make sure you source an engine that is no newer than your car because you will have EWS (Immobiliser issues)

He'd need to replace the entire vehicle loom and would also need the chip from the ignition key, EWS module, and ECU.

In fact, the best way would just to buy the car and swap it all over:thumbsup
