hi everyone,

was curious about this strange clicking noise im getting from my accelerator when i accelerate? its been there since i got the car, not caused any problems but wanted to see if its something silly.

it only happens when im accelerating and its coming from the pedal and if you open the bonnet its louder near the brake servo (black box the brake master cylinder comes out from) :confused

if anyone has any ideas please share

Sounds like the throttle cable could be fouling or the flap that opens on the inlet is sticking possibly.

Does it only occur in certain positions?

usually when i just accelerate i hear it clicking when i let go of the accelerator its not there. just when i press it. where abouts do i check for this problem?
