Ive been driving my E36 for about 6 months now so have got used to driving it but always thought the clutch was a bit heavy. Ive had a drive in a few e46' and a golf and a few other cars recently and all of which were very light in comparisson.

Is this normal for e36s? Does anyone know if its a cable or hydraulic clutch?

Hydraulic. Might need a fluid change or the actual clutch mechanism is sticking. Wait for some owners to reply..........

Thanks, the car was sat for a few months without being driven so that probably didnt help if its sticking

My clutch feels heavy compared to a fiat coupe or clio i used to drive i jsut thought it was the quality german engineering to give more feel to the pedal :thumbsup
