hello all i have a e36 318

the first of 2 things are it have rear drums and i need to change my rear wheel bearing how hard are these to do is it in the drum or the hub?

and the other problem is

when i go over little bumps / drains etc in the road the back end twicths alot
i no my rear shocks are nackered getting coil overs next week and my rear wheel bearing is on the way out but is there any other thing i might be i.e bushes coz if it is and im doing the rear bearing and shocks might as well do the bearing if there gone

any help would be excellent many thanks chubbs

HI mate,

i had all the same problems, havent got around to doing the wheel baring yet as my cars off the road as a project,

as for the the twiching mine was because my rear shocks needed replacing but this could also be caused from the wheel baring, as you will be replacing the suspension anyways it cant hurt to change the bushes

or it could be them big arm bushes that sit under the rear sill?
