Anyone know of a competent garage in east london area that can remove engine. Obviously not looking to be ripped off price wise.

when you do your search be careful with a certain companies. Before you commit, do a quick google search. I almost walked into a bog, but then got a missed call, googled the number and...safe.

they ant that hard to do, i have done a 7 series and there not that many pipes, how much do you want to spend and does the gearbox need to be replaced????? pm me if you like

Consider yourself PM'd RJB328i.
The gearbox doesn't need replacing. I'm certainly capable enough given the in right instruction but there are a couple of factors which concern me. One thing for instance that I hear is that it's often easier to remove the engine and gearbox as one unit. Unfortunately I have to separate the gearbox from the engine in this instance. One car is auto and one is manual.
