im just curious, my headliner on e36 coupe is sagging and has come of from certain parts.... do you guys reckon i can glue this my self with adhesive or get it proffesional done? i like to save every way i can (for some petrol) lool cheers guys
The fabric will have a slightly foam backing and glued to a hard backing. If the lining has come un glued from the hard backing, I've tried to repair several myself and always ended up getting it done professionally by a trim or upholstry company as it never looked right, the fabric often shrinks or looses shape when itcomes away from the backing.
I had the headlining in a hardtop done with new fabric for about £90, although I removed it / installed it myself.
they are easy to change and cheap, i changed mine from grey to black out of the sports and m3 cost £40 and i fitted it outside the place i bought it took about 20 mins
