Hi.
I've only had my 525i wagon for a short time and have been working through various things to fix on it.

Can anyone point me to a good source of parts in Australia? - better in Sydney where i am but not imperative.
I just don't seem to be able to find the stuff I need here and although overseas online stores aren't too badly priced, they either don't ship to Oz or if they do, that is very expensive.

In particular, I have to find -
-New pre-Cat Lambda (M50 motor).
-2 x bonnet gas struts (to stop the bonnet bouncing on my head all the time).
-1 or 2 (not sure) gas struts for the tailight glass section only. (tailgate itself seems okay).
-1 x drivers side high beam headlamp as mines cracked. Don't mind buying two matching if neccessary.

And there's going to be other stuff.
Can anyone in Oz please assist with some good suppliers - new and used?
I'm on the northern beaches of Sydney.

Thanks Mighty.

I've tried two major online parts hunting services here - SVC and Parts.com and never received a reply or phone call and that was for a few simple things such as the headlight.
So they were a waste of time here in Oz at least.

I'll try the Find a Part.com that you've linked as I haven't tried them.

Been through just about everything else.
I used to think my late model C200K was hard to find performance parts for, and my old 1974 DS23 Citroen Safari you would think be difficult, but neither have been as difficult as this E34. I'm just a bit surprised - such a popular vehicle with so many made but so hard to find parts for.

By the way, I tried to change my Title to include the word Aussie as I thought I'd better try and attract replies from my own countrymen, but it never changed.

Can we try the post again with the word Aussie. (ie: are you one of the Moderators?)
