I have a pierburg 2b4 carburretor with erratic idling problems......I can find a polish diagram, but thats about it. Anyone got any links to a diagram with english labels or any suggestions of a cure? I have changed all the vacum hoses.

The 2B4 has an idle adjustment screw. Did you play with it to see if the idle improved? Should be 850 +/- 50 rpm.

I've been told that it may be warping of the carb gasket and to flatten it with wet and dry on a piece of glass?
