I have a 2002 530d msport which has suddenly started to idle rough and when i boot it the DDE light comes on I have read the fault code "1190 Rail Pressure Regulation". Pre supply pump has been changed in last 4 months and fuel pressure switch has also been changed. Fuel filter has been changed on recent service. |Any advice on what to change next would be welcomed. Thank you.

Car has sorted itself out no loss of power/limp mode and no faults showing up, Back to normal. Not sure why or what has changed but didn't alter anything as rail pressure readings were looking normal.

Hi stan, I know your post is old but I'm experiencing exactly the same problem with my X5 e53 3.0d. I hope you got around to finding the problem. code 1190 DDE: rail-pressure control. The car drives fine but just that rattling noise starts a few seconds after startup.
