Looking at an 06 e91 330. How can I tell if it is just auto or steptronic? Is there a visual gear lever difference?

Hi there. I'm looking for a bit of friendly advice in relation to the automatic gear box on my F30 that I'm due to collect shortly. What should I be doing at traffic lights, sat in traffic? Sit on the foot brake, put it in park, put it in neutral or something else? Thanks, Chris
