can anyone recommend a good engine oil for my 2006 525d apart from mobile 1 in my opinion just a little to expensive I would need 2x as well lol

Are there any alternatives to the Hella oil pan sensor? The number on the sensor is: 6PR008 324-00 (I've also seen a 6PR 008 324-101 type - not sure if that's compatible to the original).
I read that if you step away from the Hella one, it might not work properly?
