Hi guys, A few of you will already know I'm currently musing over my tyres and whether to change them or not. I currently have S001 225/45/18 fronts and 255/40/18 rears. Many have recommended to do away with the Run Flats and change to cheaper non RF, such as Good Year Asymmetric 3...

Hello All, I picked up a 2012 F11 recently, and all is going well apart from an intermittent issue with iDrive (it's the version without sat nav). Roughly half the time everything works fine, but the other half of the time, when I start the car, I get shown the BMW logo startup screen and then...

Hi, Would slight tyre profiles from the original manufacturer specification have a negative impact on the car suspension and other parts? For e.g. putting 225/40/17 on a 255/40/17? as there is an offer and better tyre at 225/40/17 than the other one? Also, will it pass an MOT in the UK? Will...

Is it ok to have a different...

I have just bought a set of contours with 7.5" fronts and 8.5" rear. My question is, they have 225/45 on the fronts and 245/40 on the rears, is there any reason for the different profile? Can I get away with narrower tyres on the rears? (I've only got a 318is)
