So it seems my rear calipers are slightly sticking. Been thinking for a while now that there's some resistance coming from the rear wheels. Checked them today and there's no clearance between the pads and the disk while there's a couple mm clearance on the fronts. Is this a common issue that's...

Right so this is a while coming. The handbrake on all Bmw's I've ever driven is rubbish. Any car I've seen just scrapes past the nct also. As in really just about with a lot of adjusting pre test, and backing off again after. I never use the handbrake since its an auto, but every single...

Hi everyone, Having a bit of a nightmare recently after finding out my front hubs are larger than my rears which meant i couldn't fit my new wheels and spacers :( I've attached some pictures, and the gist is that the rear hubs are fine and correct size for my E60, but my front hubs are...

Spotted an e92 today with star 5 spokes. Caliper painted silver to match wheels however front and rear spring clips painted gold. Going to do this on mine and will post pics. Very effective look and not ott. Just the clips in gold on silver caliper really stands out. IMO much more classy than...

So after discovering a seized front caliper on my 330D, I've since replaced it this morning. Was uber careful in preventing fluid loss which fitting the new one (so finger over the end of the hose for a few seconds then straight into the new caliper and tightened). I then bled the brake as per...

hi. I just changed the near side brake caliper on my 320D and the flexi hose is a bit twisted after a new caliper fitted. The hose was ok when i put the caliper on place but then i tightened it properly and it feels rigid and there is little wave in it before the grommet. fluid came trough fine...

Long story short - dragging rear brake due to sticking piston caused a warped disc. I've fitted two new disks and and fitted new pads to the "good" side, rebuilt the caliper [inlc new piston] on the "bad" side with a kit from BigRed. All has gone great until I try to seat the rubber piston dust...
