    Hi guys, I am getting this fault code with the Peake tool everytime I drive the car, have tried to reset many times, but still comes back. So far I have replaced the camshaft sensor, the vanos solenoid switch, and the seals in the vanos from Beisan, all these things were factory new from BMW...

Could anyone recommend an indy in the Greater London / Surrey Area who is familiar with the vanos repair using the Beisan seals repair kit or Dr Vanos unit? I don't mind to travel a little further as I'll be coming...

    Heyup I'm giving some serious thought to ordering a set of the beisan seals and attempting the work myself, noticed a loss in low end pickup and rev's hunting a bit. Has anyone done them and how did you find the job? Noticable difference to engine behaviour? Cheers Jim
