    Can anyone tell me if the front brake backplate can be replaced without removing the hub,just the disc. Has anyone done this job on E36 Compact? Thanks.

    Please find attached a picture of a back plate bolt. Given the limited space, how do I remove it. I did try using the open end spanner but failed to remove it. I fear I could round the bolt. And also the other one. Any advice please, many thanks everybody.
