Hi everyone,

New to this forum but will hopefully become a regular once I start making more upgrades to my car.

I have a 2002 325i sport saloon and recently purchased a pair of original xenon headlights to replace my standard ones. I was told they came off a 2004 330d sport. They are complete with the ballasts etc and I was told that they would just plug in to the existing connections and work. I am getting the fault light and the only lights that work are the sidelights. When I turn the lights to full beam I can see a xenon flicker but they don't come on. I have read forums suggesting light control module reprogramming might be required - is this the case or is it something more simpler like removing a fuse or fitting something else? Also is this a DIY job or will it require a visit to the main dealer?

Any help greatly appreciated.
