    Hi lads!
I wouldn't recommend you BMW OBD USB Diagnostic Fault Code Cable - This Lead allows full Coding, Programming and Diagnostics for your BMW.
A few weeks ago i send them couple questions about scanner, i got replay in next day, was happy with attitude with answers...
I decided to buy one of them (inc. adapter just in case). My mistake was i didn't deal thru e-bay, but in homepage.
After i transfer money connection between was broken...
No answers on e-mail when i asked for a tracking number, no answers when i ask for help with some issues and troubles with operating software.
I try tree or four times to contact them but nothing...calm!!!
So Lads avoid bustards like BMW-CABLE and deal with tested folks.

i got the exact same cable, i use the INPA interface that works fine with both diagnostic ports on my e36 bimmer. The software is nothing to do with BMW cable (i dont think anyway) but theres so much farting about setting up VMWare and the 2 virtual machines.

Got mine off the bay as well for £8 and then downloaded INPA from the internet, as I recall you need to solder pins 7&8 together
