    Dropped it in about 2002ish, after that short pins 7&8 on the VAGCOM adaptor and use the 16 pin socket under the dash.

    Am I allowed to say bollox?? Because BOLLOX! I have one of them. Didn't think it was the 20-pin port as there seem to be onlu 8 pin slots in there. The rest have no metal in the holes :(

    Guess I need a new set of cables then??

    i'm assuming this plus into the ODB USB Cable I already have then instead of me going throught the ODB Port under the steering wheel??

    Yep. Should be about £3 from China and maybe £5-7 shipped from the UK.

    worth checking if pin 15 is populated in the round connector cos if it is it still wont work fully...if it (15) aint there it should work like a champ...
    330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

    check pin 15 position on the socket has a pin in it or not..

    that adaptor is fine...
    330i sport a big chunk of berlin...
