My airbag warning light came on, I've had a quick search and it seems there could be a few causes. I called my local Indy and they'd check the codes for £61+ vat, not including fixing it or anything which seems a bit steep!
I've had a really minor poke around and seen Peake tool SRS resetting for the e46, and the B800 reset tool for cheaper/the same as what the Indy were quoting, are they any good?
I have also seen (and had a brief delve on here) the Car diagnostic set ups. I've got an old laptop laying around at home with a serial port, and a newer x64 windows 7 laptop, is it worth giving the diagnostic thing a go, or, does it not reset the airbag light? What other benefits are there to the diagnostics?
I cannot see the circular 20 pin female connector under the bonnet, but there is a similar to scart socket, but with a circle in the middle connector near my foot pedals...
Thanks in advance,
