Hey! I have a 2004 330ci that had memory electric seats with manual folding mirrors. I've installed the electric power folding mirrors and the purple switch. what's the best way to code the mirrors to the car so that they run off the switch ?

in the research I did.... It said that the vehicles fitted with the ribbon connectors and have memory seats already have the folding modules in the doors.

and the purple switch is for memory seats and electric folding...

I've had the mirrors apart and there's nothing in them.... There isn't space for anything either

You need to recode the GM5 module for the mirrors to work.

I'm on that road at this moment (retrofitting electric power folding mirrors).

    Cheers,

If anyone is interested got a complete set to retrofit BMW E46 sedan/touring model. No coding required, and I had it fitted to a car without memory seats.
