NCS v3.1 should run in Windows 7. Are you running it in compatibility mode? ...and what errors are you getting?

    When I start it up.
    Load profile
    F1
    F3
    Select chassis
Then I got a choice of 4 modules and when I select any of them I get vin is faulty. I think I've put my e46 daten files in correctly but I still get vin is faulty error. I'll try running it in xp mode later and report back.

Thanks fal. Will try that Saturday afternoon. I've been at it for weeks. I managed to get SSS working but because of my after Market radio it was useless so I'm learning to use ncs. Thanks again and I'll update later.

Using Windows Notepad, create a blank file and save it as FSW_PSW.MAN in the WORK folder, and try it again.

Hi fal. Tried what you suggested but no success. Wil someone be able to set up a working copy of ncs3.1 on my laptop useing remote assistance? I've got plenty of tutorials for coding, just need to get my copy of ncs set up tidy. Thanks.
