    Hi,

    I have a copy of Inpa, i was just wondering what type of interface is required to use it??

    I have been running Carsoft for a while but the carsoft lead doesnt work with it.

    I want to use it on my E36.

    As far as I am aware you will need the BMW Ediabas / INPA Diagnostic interface.

    thanks for the response, i now have access to a serial diagnostic lead which works Using a USB-serial adaptor. However, i cannot talk to the kombi, DSC of Bord computer.

    Any ideas anyone?

    It comes up with an error saying the interface did not accept the command????

    kzawilin. What USB-serial adapter are you using?
    Not all USB-Serial adapters are the same.

    There shouldn't be a problem with that so far as I can tell.
    There was a problem with Linux 2.4 but it was sorted out in 2.6. But I haven't heard of a problem with XP SP2. It does sound like some sort of incompatibility problem though.
