    Hi peeps,
had the engine warning light come on intermittently so i bought the OBD cable and had a look, got a fault code: 228 lambda control tolerance bank 2 to big!
after looking through INPA i found some anomalies, first was the before Kat sensor voltage on both banks fluctuating massively any ideas????

next was the cylinder 5 rough:

could this be the cause of the Lambda fault ie unburnt fuel or something?
    cheers for the help!!

p.s. i posted in the wrong section before, how do you remove a post??

227 and 228 is classic vacuum leaks on the engine worst offender is the lower intake boot on the throttle plate but any number of hoses on the intake side can give the same fault as they are rubber and perish and split very common fault...

your engine is getting too much air because of a leak and the ECU is trying to richen the mixture up to compensate causing lambda limit codes...

you also have a serious running issue on cylinder 5 aswell which may or may not be connected,,,
330i sport a big chunk of berlin...
