    Hi all,
From across the pond, I get me a cable from :
    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/200877362382?...84.m1497.l2649

And it came with loads of SW, have been installing it for days but not much luck and being a newbie on this BMW diagnostic stuff am beginning to wonderoing if it will ever work on my "common use laptop"

Have any of you got it running on your regular everyday computer where you do everything else with as well?/

Also even though the 55 page instructions that came with this, state to select the 'BMW Group Rectification Programs UK", does it function OK when selecting the "US group Rectification Program" instead??

    thanks

it will work an any normal laptop alongside the standard stuff ppl use on laptops..

if USA suites you better then use it as your cars are different to european spec cars to start with and INPA is a factory software...
330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

Returned it and got a credit, and got another one and it works great .

Just have not been able to resolve my problem with my CAN bus communication error and instrument cluster on the E60 545i..........LOL

    thanks for offering.

Actually the guy asked me to give him a positive rating for 10 GBP on eBay (I know from experience the eBay rating system is full of it anyway so I didn't really mind), if I returned the item and he would also reimburse me for the postage.
He lied and only gave me my money back what I originally paid for the piece of junk.

    Don't buy from this guy:

Hi there Xelion, tried to PM you several times but seem not to be able to, maybe to much of newbie on this forum no privs such as yet. I guess maybe.

Still struggling with this annoying problem with the cluster have tried many things none have sofar solved my issue, car drives great just this cluster thingy is most annoying, am trying to get to learn NCS as in DIS or INPA don't seem to be able to fix this. Have suspicions that it is a signal BUS connection/software issue that's causing the problem, as I think have eliminated any power supply reasons.
Need to get my old Win XP laptop ready for this task as I cannot run NCS on the 64 bit machine.
