    Hi guys,

    Ive started using INPA recently and its great i have used it on my E46 bimmer, my frends E36 and my dads E31, however a frend of mine was having an issue with his E30, so i said no worries m8 il plug it in for you see if it helps us find your fualt, but to my suprize there was no e30 option, is there other software for an e30 or do i need a diffrent version of inpa.

    Think I've seen the option for the E30 before. You've found the older/archive model section (iirc press shift to change the menus and then F5)? What version of Inpa are you running?

    Have you got an ADS interface?

    Yes i have used to older model section as i did a e31 recently its really strange its not there, im not sure think its version 6 does that sound about right??? And im using a USB to Serial type adaptor cant remmber what interface i was using for this will check tonight when i get home.

    The common versions are 3 or 5. Not all models are covered and it's hard to keep track. I know people have had problems with the E36 3.0 M3. GT1/DIS has much better coverage and is easier to detect modules etc.

    If your using a USB interface you won't be able to talk to an E30 anyway. You'll need an ADS interface and they prefer serial ports.

    Cheers for that, il have to take a look i have a copy of SSS running to now which is great changed a couple bits on my e46, but as to the e30 bit anoyed i need a serial cable oh well not to worry will have a hunt around the forum for more info on GT1/DIS Cheers
