    can any one tell me what i am looking to get the job done right i.e. what code reader does the job and how much as i can do the work myself but to many sensors to work the faults if the occure

    not sure but i will way up the options but there is alot on ebay so as i said all answers help

    Other options are Carsoft or Inpa, but you'll need a older laptop for Carsoft and it can be tricky to get working.

    EOBD scanners are useless on a BMW so don't waste your money. They will read the EOBD codes stored but not the important BMW specific codes.

    so what do i need to get the job done right ie were i can plug in get exact codes so i can sort the job,at reasonable cost than takeing it to a dealer

    For no nonsense code reading in a few secs...get the Peake. To run on your laptop software...get Inpa or Carsoft, but they can be a nightmare to set up.

    just bought the first one you showed me so ill test it when get it but it doesnt say if it resets airbag or not as my light has come on but no what the prob is anyway but thanks for the help
