    I jut bought this software off Ebay and it came with some adapter software which uses a USB port as a COM port. All I had to do was change it from COM4 to COM1 and it worked.

    I bought the software off Ebay. If anyone wants a copy I can send it over any night via SKype (for educational purposes mind). PM me if you need it.

    stuff that its free all day long if ya look in the right places..

    FTDI VCP drivers for USB are free downloads aswell..

    http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

    if anybody is using a serial interface and wants a simple install and known working version PM me, it does not work with USB interfaces you need a version with OBD select for that..
    330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

    also change the latency timer from 16 to 1

    with latest 232 RL plus step by step instruction DVD. of course ftdi driver is for free Any info on PM

    Did you ever manage to fix this error :-

    "error opening >error log file abort !"

    I have the asme issue, and cant work it out.

    Please let me know if you have the solution.
