    Any idea what fault code "5e5c dds buton fault" means. I had it checked when the amber transmission warning light appeared but it is driving perfectly... BMW want £99 just to hook it up to their diagnostic equipment

    id suggest finding a local indy specialist they will be cheaper

    That code is to do with your tyre pressure monitoring. Could be the button itself or any linked components like an ABS sensor.

    Thank you, that is what I thought but why would I have a transmission warning light on for a tyre pressure fault?

    That could be a separate fault altogether.
