Morning all - Hope everyone is well ?

I have finally sorted INPA out with major help from FAL and Slotech

The tests below we conducted after a 30 mile round trip (Engine up to TEMP 88 - 92C)

Engine was turned on and sitting on tick over on the drive when I preformed the tests. Could you please take a look and let me know what I need to do to resolve the issues shown.

    Many thanks - Richard

The best screen you need to show is the mass adjustment screen in the status menu, it shows the inejctors working, I have version 5.0 that also shows the expected/actuals of MAF and MAF sensor. That is also very useful.

The fault you have can be ignored, the car will take a little longer for the inside to warm up (that is what aux heater is for) but won't affect performance, give Quarry Motors a call if you want a new one, it should cost more than £30

    Hi Matt hope your well?
Thanks for your reply - Where exactly is that screen by the way ? bear in mind I'm using E46 menu on INPA and wondering if it's different to yours?
    Cheers - Richard

It should be in engine>status>mass adjustment or "Masseeinstellung"

    Hi Matt

Nope dont have that option in my INPA - Remember my car isn't common rail either so would I have that option?
Please see attached screen shot, Mine only goes up to f3, I'm guessing your option is in F4 ?

    Cheers

He are the screen shot of the main menu, as you can see I have an option called "Adjustment Values" Which I guess you are referring too, when I select that option I get the next screen shot, once in there I get the following options activate 1 image and active 2 image

As we discussed Richard I can't see there being Mass Adjustment data for your injectors as the VP44 pump you have fitted in the M47 controls the fuelling.

a bit more bedtime reading for you..http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/ISB/Vp44.htm

Exactly what I was trying to explain to Mr Henson above - Cheers Simon + Matt - So guys new AIR mass, I've took it out and cleaned it and seems a little better as it was showing !42.33 before cleaning. I think Simon was going to check the other BMW app for the value issue I have.

Matt - On my E46 INPA the Air Mass is showing 0 - 16 with a value of !32.99 ish, however Simon's value is from 0 - 400. Although he uses a different engine type to E46 DDE3.0

    Cheers both -

May DD will be on line soon as I know he's the man when it comes to this (So I've been told) DD ?

if it aint broke dont try and fix it is my advice a duff MAF will create alsorts of obvious to see knock on issues anyway, plus its gonna be a varying figure anyway depending on RPM and boost etc..
330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

Yep, INPA has lots of bugs and half truths inbuilt.
In the factory, people probably understood and ignored things like when a wrong scale was used for live data, and the ECU is always watching so unless the ECU puts up a fault code, don't worry too much about data if it looks wrong.
