    hi this is my first post on here seemed my best bet for finding out about an error code that has just sprung up. the code is 171 and the message attached is, mixture adaption upper limit multiplicative?

    so had anybody else had this fault or know were it could be coming from?

    Hi mate. I would be getting the pre cat lambda sensor checked in live data mode.....

    If you let me know your engine code from the chassis plate ], ill see if i can find out any more Info....

    You should also check for any air leaks from engine breathers/diaphragm, induction and vacuum pipes.
