    Hi all, just got an M3 1999 E36 convertible, wondering what scanner/diagnostic equip antone would reccomend..want to be able to fault code read/reset, diagnose and reset service light..thanks

    E36 is prolly ADS not OBD2 they wont work on everything on the car the advert is very missleading....yal get engine diags and a few others but not everything..


    advise reading this and go from their as to wot you actually want BMW INPA is the cheapest and simplest way to get connected, the diags software is free and can be installed on any laptop including old ones with low specifications...
