    Hey all,

I'm looking for a code reader to fix my car and am very near to buying a peake tool. However, I've seen this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-C...motiveQ5fTools

Now being relatively new to all this, would this carsoft one read/reset my codes as well as letting me remap?

    Any help (or alternatives) appreciated.

    Marc.

thats not the software! just hardware interface, but be careful buying ANYTHING from china it could be dodgy copy! your looking at around 400 euros for legit carsoft up to date.

Baught a Carsoft clone from ebay. Some of the functions do not work.
I used it to fix my pdc problem, works great. You can view live data with this tool.

Purchased a Peake Research R5/FCX3 fantastic. The Diesel fault codes are not covered in the instruction book but they will email you the ammendment.

Got the Peake Research SRS tool, fantastic as well.

Thats the way to put a shed load of cash in your pocket , unless you prefer to pay the main dealer
