    May need services to code in climate unit/set up motors. Anyone local with carsoft & exprience? Not looking for a freebie.

    I don't think Carsoft can do that and even if it could I wouldn't use it for anything beyond reading codes / resetting lights.

    For any kind of coding you preferably need someone with GT1.

    I don't know mate...the latest Ultimate Home v 7.3 edition has the capability for programming the HVAC . But OP will find it hard to find someone who has it on here...I'm looking into something like this for myself.

    Thanks guys, it's a E90 2006 320d and I may need a used HVAC control panel coding in, or the settings procedure on the actuators.

    That's good to know. For the price of the latest version I'd still go GT1/ SSS.

    Have a read of this thread to see what issues people have had with trying to activate features http://forum.bmw5.co.uk/viewtopic.ph...=32555&start=0

    You cannot really blame Carsoft as you don't know if they are using legit verions etc. Battery voltage is also crucial.
