hi people there are people on ebay selling diagnostic readers for the e36 and other types.

    are they any good?

seems to be some for around £60 that suggest they can read, erase dtc's and monitor all the functions. has any one brought them what do you think of them?

does any one have any recommendations as to purchasing one?

Not heard/seen people selling them on Ebay, I'd be sceptical in buying one though...if you have minor issues you can probably get diagnosis on here, and if its a major issue, then you could pay a mechanic less than that to look over your car for an hour.

ok forget the readers on ebay then!!!

problem im having is with this binicle being eratic rev/fuel/temp. its after an engine change. its been better since i had it all reset the weekend as it was totally dead before. but its going to pot again. so whilst im playing with wires and things its its just easier to reset them to see if i get any problems. as of saturday there was no faults recorded after clearing it its semi working this morning

problem is on the 3 series discusseion form e36 model.
