    code 60-selector lever position

    does anybody know what this means please i have recently had the car running a diagnostic test and this is what fault came up.
    when i start my car up i go to select reverse or drive and ocasionaly a symbol pops up the shape of a cog this then sends my car into limp mode this happens maybe once a day.
    when driving the gears seem to be fine please help
