    hi guys i have followed this super guide to the letter Guide: Installing INPA/EDIABAS on Windows 7 64bit but i just cant get the lead to work i don't get black dots a first but if i press shift and f7 to connect to the car (e87) i can select a module but i never get a connection after i return the main screen i have the black dots and if i toggle the ignition the the black dot comes and goes i have set my port to com port 1 and amended the obd.ini file ect.

    i have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, i have been on this solid since Friday but its beaten me

    any ideas....PLEASE

    Is your USB lead on com 1?
    Have a look in device manager, and try moving it to a different com port, ammend the obd.ini, and put the obd.ini is c:/windows

    i have had it on port 3 and port 1 still no good
