Was looking into setting up something to read codes on computer, but all seem to be windows orientated, are there are any products out there that is mac compliant?

Also i have a wirelss bluetooth elm 327 thing that plugs into obd2, had this from my last car but never used it, was wondering what my options are at the moment?

Never looked but I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.

I think your best bet would be to use Parallels or Boot Camp to run Windows and try and work from that. It's not garanteed though even then as it's still a slightly 'odd' Windows platform.

Good luck - would be good to hear if you have any success

Buy an Alienware, they're superior to a mac and run Windows 7/8

    So does my MacBook Pro.

Doesn't look like a 13 year old's wet dream either... But seriously, not starting this argument

Not as quick, reliable or powerful though and the lights can be turned off lol.... Indeed not getting into an argument, I hate Apple lol...

On a serious note DD speaks sense, get a cheap netbook

I've always been an Applehater, and I still can't stand the gimmiky status-gadgets, phones, touchscreen doohickys etc.

BUT I won a Macbook from the Gadget Show (amongst loads of stuff) and it is pretty damn AWESOME. The only Apple thing I didn't sell! lol

Just a lot faster, simpler and easier than any Windows Laptop I've used. Been using it for over a year now and it's still going strong, not cogged up and sluggish like most laptops get over time.

Still rock a PC on the desk though.

Back on topic: I reckon the best bet is like DD says, get a super cheap netbook that you don't mind getting grubby and oily and use that.
