It will work, but I found DIS to be more useful for two reasons: it's more detailed, and live data works (even if it's rather slow). INPA will work to some extent, but live data values are rubbish.
There are only two products required to make the universe work properly: Duct tape and WD40.

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.

Did you copy the .prg file into C:\EDIABAS\ECU AND .ipo into C:\INPA\SGDAT ? They should work regardless of the version of INPA you're running.

Just noticed your car is a '91 model. I presume it's the non vanos, so maybe that's why it's not working. It's a different ECU.

Yea, but you could put this the same way regarding the EWS, couldn't you? EWS/non-EWS, it's still a DME331. But somehow, it doesn't work unless someone modifies it. Not saying this is necessarily the problem, but it could be.

The non vanos is DME M3.1.

    M3.1 - Non vanos
M3.3 - M3 3.0 Non vanos (vanos is controlled seperately)
    M3.3.1 - 325 with vanos control.

What amazes me most is that the error was found and DM331k20 DME331 since the files are in the directory. Today I ask a fellow to check your engine with VANOS.
    any ideas what to do?
