    ive been looking at code readers andive bin some previous threads rearding obd1 and obd11 and generic readers.this one that ive found seems very good for the money but as i know bugger all and dont want to waste my money.i was wondering if its any good?

    I haven't used PA soft to be honest but for that price its worth it for the connectors-If you find the software not useful you could change it but at least you'll have the hardware already I use a Peake tool for quick and easy diagnostics but I also have carsoft for more advanced diagnostics-You may be able to find the connectors for cheaper elsewhere and if so then it would just be a case of finding the right software

    cheers guys ill buy it like youve said the connectors and leads are worth it and he should be vat registered so ill stick through my business even cheaper.

    ive bought it and if its any good ill let everyone know.ive got my m3 and my bros e46 328i that should have loads of faults that need resetting and ive just bought a 106 gti with engine managment light and abs but might need differant software.

    It will work fine and is very powerful. Only problem is that you will need to lookup the codes it outputs.
