hi! my e91 has got a couple of warning lights on the dash, yellow steering warning light (came on after starting the car on full lock) and the 2 airbag lights have come on . i took the car to the local garages in my village (owned by friends ) who put there diagnosic kit on it. however the car wouldnt comunicate with any on them!!!! including the new snap-on modus scanner!!
so my question is... is there a specific piece of kit to read and reset fault codes on my car?
or could there be a problem with my odb port?? missing fuse? relay? loose conection pins? wiring issue? ecu???
    has anyone had this problem?
    all help welcome, thanks

Surely it's still under warranty ?

Get it down the dealers before you invalidate any prospective remedial work through using an indy.
