    forgot to say that my last post refers to the N42 ENGINE.

    dont think ive got the right sensor,any 1 got a picture of the n42 engine with that sensor on show so i know what im doing?how can i tell which 1,s which inlet or zorst?

    is the inlet cam sensor the same as the zorst cam sensor?what i mean is that are they universal sensors.

    no not universal.

    exahaust sensor is on left hand side and inlet sensor is on right hand side of engine.

    bmw dealers are saying there both the same sensor?and there £86 pound each.

    did you manage to fit new sensor to sort out your problem?
